There is a brilliant song playing on wfmu.org right now. Some sort of party in Giantland song and it's one of those that is so unusual that you fall in love with it immediately. Anyways, you missed it. You weren't listening and it's over now. Another thing you missed was the Dollarbie purple jumper that was up in Cherrybuttons and the Thimbles Emporium for two days. Feeling bad right about now? Feeling low like the last person to arrive at a wedding and people are staring at you? That's OK!! There's an Easter Egg Hunt at Retrology this weekend and you can find the Fuchsia jumper for 1L there! After this event I'll be putting it up on the walls of our stores for 125L so if I were you, and I liked a good egg hunt... I'd be hitting up Retrology. Damn you spell check, I have apparently been spelling Fuchsia wrong my entire life. Now I have to go change everything so as not to look like the dip shit I may or may not be.

Hey Hey Give me a minute of your time? Yes? OK!

Howdy do. I forget exactly when we started this project, but it's come about time for me to send out an announcement that we're opening up a tiny weetle shopping area and have two or three spots to rent out.

We've got a 75prim spot, a 100prim spot and a free standing building that may or may not fit 50prims. The 100prim could also very easily be broken down into two smaller rooms so you know, that's an option.
Also we have a "struggling new designer" board. Free rent for 15 prims for a month for anyone just starting out. The only catch is that we kind of have to see your junk first and then we all vote on who gets the board each month.
The area is called The Starlust Motel. The theme is sort of b-movie disheveled/distressed glam. The Stores you'll be neighbored to are: Thimbles, Pudge, Schadenfreude and Ki Squared.

So, in short... we've created a sweet little shopping collective here. Our goal setting out was very much "let us scratch your back and you come scratch ours a little too, huh?" We've got incredibly talented people, wonderful senses of humor... overall it's going to be a good time. I was tagged by the amazing and luminous Allegory Malaprop (who frequently employs my favorite words).

So the rules are…
1. Pick up the nearest book (of at least 123 pages).

I did not pick the nearest book, I am not so good with following rules. I also have a giant wall of a bookshelf with far too many to choose from and the nearest ones as you walk around the corner are all photography books. I picked at random, sort of, a book I haven't read in years and years.

Tacked to my door, I found a note that said "Rats Eat Cats," and then he had drawn a picture of a muscle-bound rat decapitating a kitten.
When I realized I'd lost two of my darlings, I felt very old - tired and resigned, like nothing could ever fill in that missing space.
Then I sat on the stoop and thought about how the Cat Lady Project is also about a kind of vacancy, a sort of perpetually windswept room that needs to be filled up with small, velvety creatures who can always be replaced, because without their warmth and purring and nonjudgmental love reflex, the emptiness would overwhelm a girl.

Hooded Sweatshirts for Those of us that are naturally sweaty

So far I've only put these up at Cherrybuttons, I apologize for any inconvenience that may cause but we've been busy working on a super secret collective. I'm really pleased with how easy it is to throw on these Hoodies and get your hands dirty building or texture-ing or... if you're me... bastardize a song you don't really know all the words to on mic while shh-ing those trying to speak over your horrible singing. They're a good renaissance sweatshirt, really! There are 8 Men's colors to choose from and 9 Ladies colors to choose from. I personally wear it without the hood, but that's just me. Some people like a hood. Other's like '83 Mustangs.

I'm sorry. I'm stuck in Hell.

Really though. Hell. At 2:30 this morning (mar. 1) I was tooling around looking at land with my friend Kiki when I crashed. Trying to log back in I got the error message that says "blah blah blah we're logging you out right now, blah blah blah your account will not be available until such and such time" and I got that message repeatedly for an hour, before I just up and went to sleep instead. Long story short: After talking with a Bruno and being emailed by a Pam, who was not as delightful as the Bruno, It appeared as though somehow, some magical way... my avatar had gotten stuck in-world... but was not actually IN world. I blamed it on Sparkle originally... That's where I'd been when I crashed, but Cate Dollinger went to try to push me into another sim and sent me a picture of where i was...Hell. I'm stuck in Hell. I think it's fitting. And instead of actually making all the puns I could make right now... KNOW that there are a shit ton of puns to be made and appreciate it. Here's another picture:See? That's the Church of Satan, or one of them at least. Anyways. I'm immobile. I'm vacant... There is nothing there when you click send a message to me. Well other than it will get sent to my email and I'll make a note to respond to you when I can. And the whole point of this post is to let you know that If this isn't resolved soon (please Lindens... Please. I don't think I've ever asked you for anything before ever.) then our half off sale is just going to have to last another day.
